As the Senior Manager, Regulatory (APAC), you will be the cornerstone of EBANX's regulatory strategy and compliance efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Singapore , you will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regional regulators, ensuring the maintenance of our licenses and enabling our expansion into new markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
This is a strategic role that requires a blend of deep regulatory knowledge, business acumen, and leadership skills to guide EBANX through a dynamic and complex environment.

• Regulatory Management & Relationships:

• Serve as the primary point of contact and build a trusted relationship with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other governmental regulators in the region.
• Lead and oversee the regulatory compliance framework, ensuring adherence to all local obligations, including periodic reporting.
• Ensure the maintenance and good standing of all EBANX's regulated entities in the APAC region.
• Strategy & Business Expansion:

• Provide strategic and expert advice on new business models and products, ensuring their regulatory feasibility in the region.
• Conduct assessments and lead the application processes for new licenses required for EBANX's expansion in APAC.
• Support the Commercial team in meetings with strategic merchants, offering clarity and assurance on regulatory matters.
• Compliance & Operations:

• Ensure compliance with payment network rules and card scheme regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate regulatory risks, in line with the company's global objectives.
• Lead and develop the APAC regulatory team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities to foster a high-performance environment.

What you'll bring (Qualifications):

• Extensive experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, and/or a legal function within the financial services, payments, or fintech sector in Singapore.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore's regulatory landscape, including the Payment Services Act and MAS guidelines.
• Proven experience in direct interactions and relationship management with the MAS and/or other key regulators.
• A successful track record of obtaining and maintaining financial services licenses.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, strategic guidance for business and product teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
