Improvement of overall management on functions described below.
1) IT Team Management
a. IT Team Management : direction and management of day-to-day operations by IT team
members of 5 staff in group offices across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Shanghai.
The role's responsibility includes training, allocation and evaluation of IT team members.
b. Regular direct reporting of the progress in group's IT strategy execution to our Senior
Management, as well as to Senior Managements of our group companies in AeJ area
(Asia except Japan: Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Shanghai)
c. Regular direct reporting to Tokyo IT department and its Senior Managements on group's
progress in IT development over AeJ offices.
2) Implementation of Nomura group's latest IT Strategy to all the AeJ Offices, with total number of
staff more than 5.
a. Group-wide IT Infrastructure
b. Optimization of Business Application Structure between Global and Local
c. Promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) strategy
3) Budgeting and Executions for IT development for AeJ Offices
4) Management and direction of the staff of the IT teams that carry out the day-to-day operations
with regard to the implementation and use of IT in the group companies in AeJ regions.
This position is expected to take the lead in the handling of major incidents and critical
incidents. Scope of response duties includes, but is not limited to;
a. IT Infrastructure management
b. Business Applications management
c. Incident Management
d. Supporting Operational Improvement
e. Supporting Business Continuity
5) Update and Maintenance of IT Infrastructure for AeJ Offices
6) Improvement of Cyber Security Management and IT Controls for AeJ Offices
7) Support of DX (Digital Transformation) for AeJ Offices
