Lead the design and rollout of value added services (customs clearance, inland services, cargo insurance, extended liability programs, credit card payments, trade finance, etc.) across key countries
Manage end-to-end service lifecycle: discovery, partner selection, contract framework, system development, customer journey, and go-to-market launch
Coordinate with regional HQs and local offices to ensure smooth execution and adoption
Develop strategies for promotion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth of value-added services
Monitor service usage, KPIs, and customer feedback to refine product offerings
Identify new market opportunities in logistics value-added services and propose pilot cases
Lead cross-functional alignment with BPIT, Legal, Finance, Insurance Partners, Operations, and regional offices
Present progress updates and business cases to Execom and senior stakeholders
Cover duties of team members as required
Support Team Lead in strategic initiatives, including new project discovery, vendor negotiations, and inter-departmental coordination
Handle ad hoc assignments to address urgent business requirements
Requirements
Degree in relevant discipline with preference for MBA
More 10 years of relevant experience in container shipping, logistics operations, and/or B2B SaaS-enabled logistics services
Strong product development and project management expertise, with a track record of launching and scaling new logistics or SaaS-enabled services
Foundational knowledge of shipping: particularly Liner and Semi-Liner operations--and adjacent areas of the supply chain, including vessel operations, product design, trade/route management, documentation, and commercial/customer service processes
Proven ability to bridge IT development and business functions, including drafting customer journeys, UI/UX flow concepts, and requirements for eCommerce implementation
Hands-on experience in drafting Terms & Conditions from scratch, consolidating stakeholder inputs, and formulating negotiation strategies in close collaboration with Legal teams
Skilled in preparing business plans and translating initiatives into financial models, including P&L impact, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis
Ability to convert specific operational and customer requirements in shipping and logistics into viable digital products and commercial services
Proven leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages a plus
