JOB SCOPE Summary of Job Function This function is responsible for the curation and implementation of Talent Development and Organization Development initiatives in support of the company\xe2\x80\x99s business goals and talent strategies. In Talent Development, the focus is to foster a strong culture of Lifelong learning, encourage and enable career growth and succession readiness through knowledge, skills and competency development at all levels of the organization. In Organizational Development, the focus is to build talent pipelines and create career progression programs and pathways that enable Team Members and Management at all levels of the organization to attain career growth and progression. Job Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders and HR to curate a suite of programs, assessment tools and other resources to equip Team Members and Leaders with relevant skills for current and future work demands.
  • Provide internal consultancy to business leaders and recommend solutions to build people management and leadership skills and capabilities.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Learning function; provide direction and support to the team; ensure training programs are well designed and facilitated effectively; company purpose, mission and core values are incorporation into all learning program; training effectiveness is evaluated for further improvements.
  • Facilitate professional development, people management and leadership workshops and seminars.
  • Coordinate the management of all Compliance Training, ensuring all Team Members complete the assigned courses.
  • Nurture a strong community of trainers through skills upgrading, engagement, and best practices sharing.
  • Build relationships with key training providers to achieve maximum results from the partnerships.
  • Leverage industry best practices and recommend adoption of relevant learning & organizational design trends, programs, and methodologies, such as digital learning platforms.
  • Develop robust career tracks and programs to build talent profiles for talent pipelines.
  • Forge strong partnerships with key local and international Institutions of Higher Learning for Internship and Trainee placement opportunities. Coordinate and manage Internship programs, ensuring proper attention is given to their training, assimilation, and wellbeing.
  • Analyze and use talent data to understand issues, identify trends, to make informed decisions and actions
  • Develop communication and marketing methods to create greater Team Member awareness and adoption of programs and resources available.
  • Monitor and manage training budget and expenses.
  • Manage multiple projects and ensure outcomes are achieved within established timeframes

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Competent in developing and executing Training & Development, Leadership Development and Organizational Development strategies.
  • At least 8 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in a hotel or service related industry.
  • Expertise in leadership and management development programs, with strong skills in program design, curriculum development and partner resourcing.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with management and employees across the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with prior experience working in best-in-class HR organization
  • Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
  • Passionate, positive, energetic and highly self-motivated, with a solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Degree/Masters in the field of Human Resources from an accredited institution.
