Overview
Reporting to Head HR Shared Services, you will be responsible for
Leading Shared Services teams in delivery of HR functions (eg. On-boarding, In-Service and Off-boarding)
Supporting timely and accurate service commitments for HR processes and transactions
Pro-active engagement with stakeholders to drive operations and service excellence in accordance to changes in policies and leading practices
Co-leading projects to implement improvements to strengthen governance and employee experience via automation and simplification of processes
Completing duties and initiatives assigned by Reporting Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
HR Processes and Transactions \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead a team of shared services specialists to handle end-to-end HR processes and transactions in on-boarding, in-service and exit functions via Cloud-based HR System (CHRS) and HR Case Management Portal (NUService Hub)
Develop and coach team members to ensure smooth operation and service delivery
Meet deadlines with quality and efficiency, and ensure HR systems and employee records are administrated based on agreed procedures and standards
Review and address stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 feedback, propose system enhancements for improved user experience and system functionalities
Proactively identify gaps via data analysis and implement measures to improve efficiencies and controls
Manage audits and reporting requirements
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including HR Partners, HR Centre of Excellence, Outsourcing Vendors, Authorities to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of HR shared services
Review scope and service commitment, and adapt processes in accordance to changes in policies and new requirements stipulated by the authorities
Often the \xe2\x80\x98subject matter expert\xe2\x80\x99 in assigned areas of service delivery, be a valuable partner to outsourcing vendors, management and HR colleagues
HR Process Improvement & Innovation
Be the \xe2\x80\x98Process Champion\xe2\x80\x99 to implement improvements to strengthen automation, standardisation and governance in shared services by leveraging on innovative solutions
Collaborate with \xe2\x80\x98Technology Champions\xe2\x80\x99 and authorities to proactively identify ways to enhance work processes
Generate improvement ideas and co-lead projects to implement enhanced solutions and new technologies.
Qualification/Experience
Good Degree in any discipline
More than 12 years of working experience including 5 years preferably in a shared services environment
Possess leadership skills and at least 5 years of experience in leading teams, both internal and external
Functional knowledge of associated HR business processes and practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites, SAP SuccessFactors, DocuSign, Opentext, visualisation tools and process improvement methodologies will be advantageous
Strong writing, facilitation and presentation skills
Possess mindset of service and process to drive improvements
Agile and resilient, able to handle changing business requirements
Able to manage challenging situations in a positive and productive manner
