What the role is:To focus on delivering timely and accurate translation of the clients\' requirements, for finance, procurement and official overseas travel. This includes coordination, administration and working within agreed timelines through to the closing of the finance, procurement service and official overseas travel arrangements in line with the Ministry of Finance\'s Instruction Manual and AGC internal policies where applicable. Reference will be made to the prescribed templates and supporting finance, procurement and travel documentation. In addition, the BP should drive value for AGC by identifying cost optimization opportunities and monitor contract timelines.What you will be working on:Responsibilities: The officer is responsible for finance business partnering activities which include but are not limited to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide timely finance support to Divisions, so as to allow Divisions to incorporate financial considerations into their business decisions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Financial roles include budget planning coordination, budget tracking, cost recovery and payment matters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide procurement support to Divisions e.g. advising stakeholders on applicable procurement guidelines and helping them to draft the Approval of Requirement (AOR) based on their requirement specifications. Also assist in other procurement submissions like preparation of evaluation reports, contract variations and seeking approvals from relevant approving authority. Perform contract monitoring. \xe2\x80\xa2 Administer approvals for official overseas travel to be in compliance with the Government Instruction Manual guidelines.What we are looking for:Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary education or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business studies. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in public sector accounting and Government Instruction Manuals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to articulate clearly with good negotiation skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Customer-centric and possess good interpersonal skills with team and different stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and ability to take a broad and strategic perspective with strong analytical skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in MS Office applications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess an eye for details, results-oriented and meticulous with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
