In addition to ensuring financial integrity and statutory compliance, the role contributes to process improvements and leverages system tools to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will also be involved in ERP migration and user acceptance testing (UAT), helping to ensure a smooth transition of reporting processes into the new system environment.

Preparation/uploading of journals for month end and year end closing of accounts and be accountable for the processed journals

Responsible for and timely review of month end and year end closing of accounts for the assigned Research Institute and Organisation wide process, including but not limited to Grant Utilisation, Prepayment, GST reporting, Manpower provision, Lease Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Consolidation etc

Handle Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes including transactional postings, troubleshooting of errors and enhancements, where necessary

Responsible for timely preparation of and follow up on monthly accounting schedules, mid year & year end consol pack and bank reconciliation

Handles InterCo confirmation and IntraCo reconciliation and follow up with counter-parts for closure

Support audit fieldwork with spontaneous response to auditor on selected samples

Support adhoc tasks as assigned



Job Requirements



Candidate must possess at least Bachelor?s Degree in Accountancy or Professional Accounting Qualifications.

Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance role

Strong analytical skills

Experience with SAP will be advantageous

Good command of MS Office applications
