What the role is:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Internal Communications & Engagement manager to develop and refine internal communications and engagement efforts to establish HTX as an employer of choice for STEM talent. This successful candidate will develop and execute integrated communications strategies targeting diverse internal and external audiences, showcasing our impact in science and technology and inspiring future innovators to join our mission. This person will report to the Deputy Director, Internal Communications and Engagement, but will also have to work closely with other sections in Strategic Communications and other stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives and outcome.
What you will be working on:

• Position HTX's work in Science and Technology as critical in enhancing the Home Team's efforts to "keep Singapore safe and secure" to the internal audience o Conceptualise and execute original and effective communication campaigns and events to strengthen engagement of employees, potential hires, students as well as the public o Develop creative storytelling initiatives to create a deeper connection and a sense of shared purpose among employees o Work with multi-functional teams to plan and execute the bi-monthly HTX townhall and a variety of engagement and outreach events o Collaborate closely with colleagues in employer branding, social media, mainstream media, digital and internal communications to align engagement efforts and deliver a unified narrative

What we are looking for:

• University graduate from a recognised tertiary education institution with more than 10 years' proven track record in delivering outcomes in communications and employer branding (degree in journalism, communications and business will have an advantage) o Demonstrated experience in leading multi-platform communications campaigns and talent outreach initiatives o Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills o Creative with a keen eye for visual design o Good grasp of a range of communication skills such as messaging, positioning and storytelling o Good track record of developing content using an entire suite of communications tools o Resourceful and self-driven o Team player who is also able to work across teams and lead through influencing o Good ability in starting and managing projects o Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment o Fun-loving and has a positive learning attitude All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
