About the role:
This a role for someone who enjoys all things cultural and appreciates the beauty of our diverse multicultural society. You believe in the need to strengthen the bonds between the different racial groups in Singapore whilst preserving the uniqueness of each culture.

To do well in this role, you are a self-starter and independent worker whilst possessing the ability to work in a team with diverse needs. You are adept at synthesising information from various sources to reach a common communication objective. You are a strong communicator who knows instinctively which platforms is the right one for your campaign. Finally, you are ideas-driven, innovative but with a practical mindset.

Key deliverables:

You would be supporting three heritage institutions (HI), Indian Heritage Centre, Malay Heritage Centre and the Wan Qing Yuan on inter-HI marcom campaigns such as the Racial Harmony Day campaign.

You would also work on mini tourism campaigns to increase brand-recall and footfall to the HIs. This would include developing partnerships and actively engage tourism agents or online ticketing platforms.

Other areas include analysing the HIs current digital marketing campaigns and develop digital marketing strategies to increase audience base and engagement. You would also project manage and support HIs on marcom projects such as website revamps, branding projects or merchandise design. Finally, as part of your role, you would seek partnerships to further the brand of each HI.

Requirements:

  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience in integrated marketing, graphic design, digital marketing or related marketing disciplines
  • Added advantage to have experience in planning and managing social media campaigns, paid social advertising and longer-term strategies
  • Strong social media experience, able to manage multiple social media platforms, copywriting for posts and/or managing digital agencies
  • Hands on experience in developing insights from social media tools & able to synthesise data into actionable insights
  • Creative, innovative and commercial-minded
  • Ability to work well alone as well as with different departments across the organisation
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; possesses a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of the heritage and culture sector in Singapore
