What the role is:With our focus on impact giving, Tote Board plays a strategic role in catalysing positive social change for a caring and resilient Singapore. You will be part of a purpose-driven and impactful Grants team to develop and deliver grant programmes with 3P partners.You will directly engage with grantees throughout the grant lifecycle, from proactive grant curation; assessment of grant proposals; grant management and reviews; to programme evaluation. You will also play a crucial role in building and deepening relationships with diverse stakeholders, and undertake ecosystem engagement / branding efforts to support knowledge sharing.What you will be working on:We are seeking team players who are passionate about making an impact through grants. Sustainable and liveable home.The role will involve:Grant Curation: A pathfinder to proactively orchestrate, curate and develop new grant programmes with stakeholders. Based on research and stakeholder engagement (including with domain experts and academics), you would propose grant curation opportunities to address gaps and emerging needs in the landscape/ ecosystem. In catalysing cross-sector collaboration for impactful grant-making, you would identify relevant sector and community partners, and co-determine programme design and funding approach. You would also co-develop a theory of change and programme indicators in solutioning for impact.Grant Management and Impact Measurement (IM): Work closely with grant partners to manage and monitor programme implementation; course correct where relevant; and evaluate grant outcomes and impact, for better decision-making (e.g., in reviews of grants). Officer is expected to work across teams to ensure grant governance and controls as well as budget planning and management. Officer would also support grantees\' adoption of Tote Board\'s IM framework.Requirements:What we are looking for:Trained in a relevant discipline such as strategic management, business, communications, marketing, or other related disciplines including non-profit sector.5-8 years of relevant working experience in business/partnership development, public relations or communications related roles, grant review and evaluation, and/or programme design and implementation.Self-driven, with strong ability and interest in engaging various external and internal stakeholders, including senior management.Demonstrated track record in communication (interpersonal, written and oral communication skills) is necessary.Good planning and organisational skills with an eye for details.Ability to sense-make and contextualise domain-specific knowledge; ability to analyse and tackle issues from macro and micro perspectives, especially in the area of public policy. Is imaginative yet realistic and impact-driven.Keen to contribute to the refinements on grant processes to enhance organisational experience in grant management.Proficient in using data analytic tools to develop insights on the grant landscape and contribute to the grant-making process.The person should be comfortable working with financial figures and competent in quantitative/qualitative analysis through data visualisation and analytics where possible.Note: This is a fixed term contract positionJoin us and help us to achieve our compelling vision of a caring and resilient Singapore.The successful candidate will be appointed into a position commensurate with work experience.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About Tote Board:Established in 1988, Tote Board (Singapore Totalisator Board) is a statutory board of the Ministry of Finance.
