As part of Rapsodo growth and innovation, we are hiring for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the team with organizational objectives by supporting the factory production to deliver quality products on schedule.

This role is based in Singapore office but might require frequent travel into Malaysia (Johor Bahru) Responsibilities

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer drives organizational objectives by supporting the factory production to deliver quality products on schedule.

• Develop manufacturing process for assembly and test for NPI product
• Ramp up the production for NPI product in factory
• Implement and improve work instructions for NPI and existing products in the factory
• Issue and implement engineering changes and Bill of Material (BOM) changes
• Roll-in test changes/firmware changes for factory
• Work with suppliers for parts quality issues
• Drive contract manufacturer to deliver on operational goals
• Troubleshoot failed products in the contract manufacturer factory if the factory engineers cannot resolve the problem
• Work to improve First Pass Yield and rolled throughput yields to meet the aligned goals
• Drive cycle time improvements to improve efficiency and delivery

• Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or any related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills and effective communicator
• Effective communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills to communicate with regional stakeholders
• Knowledge in SMT process and ability to troubleshoot PCBA failures would be preferred
• Proficiency in Malay language (speaking) would be an advantage
