Overview
The Senior Product/Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for oversight on the manufacturing workflow of Waters products in ensuring they meet our company's safety and quality standards. The role supported the Asia manufacturing sites within Waters. The individual will have opportunity to work with a dynamic, cross functional team, to lead new product transfers of analytical instrumentations and expsure to new leading edge technologies in area of thermal analysis, liquid chromatogrpahy and mass spectrometry.
Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in process and product activities.
• Define and perform production processes and equipment development for various manufacturing systems
• Apply engineering knowledge to understand and improve manufacturing processes and reliability.
• Coordinate engineering changes impact with Contract Manufacturers
• Assess engineering change impact and drive resolutions.
• Drive year on year product improvements with proven cost, leadtime and quality benefits.
• Manage asset renewal with Contract Manufacturers partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Molecular Biology and Molecular Chemistry is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Operation of Thermal analysis, Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry or similar instrumentations experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with high technology manufacturing and quality systems.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of relevant experience. Engineering Degree or background.
• Experience in High mix, low volume manufacturing environment is considered a plus.
• Familiar with FDA, ISO 13485 requirements
