At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors - called delivery partners - to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allows delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are nothing short of disruptive, and promise to challenge traditional approaches, and change the way the industry operates.

We are seeking a self-motivated, data-driven, and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function for Amazon Flex Singapore. This role is responsible for leading a small team of marketers in the end to end management of the Amazon Flex Singapore marketing funnel. This includes development of the Amazon Flex Singapore brand awareness and delivery partner acquisition strategy, including ownership of a multi-million dollar marketing budget to be allocated across performance marketing, brand growth efforts and offline media campaigns. In addition, this role is responsible for increasing delivery partner conversion and activation via our app-based onboarding process, working closely with stakeholders across tech, data science and data analytics to do so. Finally, the role oversees the delivery partner communications strategy in Singapore across all channels, including website, email, push notifications, SMS and in-app newsfeed and learning content, as well as the development and deployment of go-to-market plans for key new feature and product launches.

This is a highly visible role and is inherently cross-functional; this leader will create and manage initiatives working closely with stakeholders across central marketing, legal, PR, employee relations, technology, product, operations, finance and leadership across Amazon\'s Last Mile organization. The right candidate has experience in results-driven marketing, an unbridled passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The leader will thrive amidst ambiguity, be capable of regularly making high judgement decisions, and be an inspirational and customer obsessed leader. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, team oriented, and have proven track record of leading the marketing function, effectively managing marketing budgets, and growing their brand\'s presence in order to cost effectively achieve customer acquisition and conversion goals. They will be comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a changing and fast-growing environment. Their focus will be on deep diving existing metrics and providing data driven recommendations and marketing plans in order to achieve wider business goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of marketers across Brand, Acquisition, Onboarding, Loyalty/Retention and Communications functions
  • Use data to rigorously assess brand and marketing channel effectiveness, prioritize marketing tactics based on business requirements, and develop an effective marketing mix to achieve delivery partner onboarding targets
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to provide insight on the value of different audience groups, and how we can prioritize our investment in specific areas to fast track growth
  • Manage, oversee, and optimize our partnerships with creative agencies to develop clear and comprehensive creative briefs, providing agencies with the necessary information for successful execution.
  • Govern our online / offline channels to elevate Amazon Flex product and propositions effectively in the local market
  • Build a cost effective model for broad reach, upper funnel marketing, including the team and capabilities to achieve this
  • Design and execute a disciplined investment program working based on driver insights to utilize marketing science including well-structured controlled experiments, attribution and econometric modelling
  • Create and deliver best in class tracking and measurement and reporting to provide confidence, transparency, and executive investment governance
  • Lead the planning, procurement, configuration, management, and deployment of Media assets, and positioning these accelerators to deliver incremental marketing impact
  • Establishing an \'always on\' testing plan for broad reach activity considering the role of audiences, channels, messaging
  • Develop metrics and measurements to determine campaign effectiveness, including partnering with technical teams to implement performance measurement automation, attribution and channel optimization
  • Ensure a best-in-class on-boarding experience matching delivery partner and overall business needs, reducing the dwell time of candidates and improving the conversion of candidates through the on-boarding lifecycle
  • Design and execute a data led governance & performance rhythm across Marketing the function to manage all Amazon Flex Singapore activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- MBA
- Knowledge of SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience with Marketo, or similar campaign management platforms
