This position reports into the Director of Marketing, Essential Health ASPAC and is based at Singapore.

What You Will Do

The Senior Marketing Manager Essential Health AP is a key strategic leadership role within the Essential Health franchise. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of the global need state strategy and local brand relevance and implementation. This position reports into the Director, Essential Health AP and will be based in Singapore.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable growth for Babycare & Femcare, for Asia Pacific with key focus on our Design Market India by leading or supporting Brand building, Business delivery and Commercial and New Product Innovation. The person will also be responsible for brand stewardship for Johnsons & Femcare franchise for Asia Pacific and will have a Senior Brand manager reporting into the role.

Main responsibilities:

  • As part of the Essential Health team, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for Equity and Business building as aligned to the Global Strategy to help deliver APAC business towards business growth
  • Be the lead partner for Johnson\' India to help identify, develop & deliver a strong business plan building equity and innovation pipeline for India, that can also be leveraged for rest of AP. Would need to actively engage with lead market, cross functional partners & Global brand leads for the same
  • Lead Region project team to implement innovation for the identified portfolio opportunities, to build upon our health, science & sustainability advantage, with consumers, customers and HCPs for Johnsons & Femcare for AP markets
  • Based on the market\'s 3 yr operating plan, the Senior Marketing Manager is also expected to help develop a strong plan for innovation, communication & capability, in partnership with local market, CxO & Global teams. In addition, the Senior Manager will be responsible for distilling key market needs & trends to shape Global strategies and thinking across innovation, brand building and business model development.
  • Leveraging global & local consumer, competitive and trade insights to develop business model and initiatives to drive higher share of recruitment amongst relevant consumer segments and premiumization of our business.
  • Have close partnership with Commercial and Marketing Leaders in the countries, gaining local insight / market intimacy and support execution of key local P&L initiatives such as CIP/ re-siting, RGM, portfolio and pricing recommendations
  • Support market content needs, partnering with Lead markets & CxO for content toolkit & production and adapt the content to scale it to multiple markets in APAC
  • Help shape Global Vision & Strategy for Need States & Brands by ensuring that Global teams understand local market nuances, needs & competitive environment, and work to land the same consistently in-market
Qualifications

What We Are Looking For
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in setting a vision and executing in a similar integrated brand leadership role within a consumer-packaged goods organization, preferably with a breadth of functional and/or industry experience is required.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization, collaborating with regional groups and leading cross functional teams is required.
  • Experience in providing marketing thought leadership-taking consumer insight and using it to drive thinking and good decisions, is required.
  • Demonstrated skill in executing and delivering brand leadership in a similar integrated brand leadership role is required. Experience of marketing in a digital world (i.e., social media, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required.
  • Ability to shape concepts & ideas, with senior stakeholders, through clear thinking and effective communications required
  • Demonstrated financial acumen in making effective business decisions is required.
  • Experience in successful partnership with R&D organizations to develop innovative products supported by specific and relevant brand messaging is preferred.
  • Experience living/working in SEA/ India, on any of the Essential health businesses, is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% is required
  • Travel may be required up to 10%
