Primary Purpose
The Senior Marketing Officer is fully responsible for ensuring all stores are well presented with proper marketing & merchandising material and successfully launch marketing activities on time. In addition, this role will assist the Marketing Manager for day to day execution and implementation of restaurant and advertising and menu initiatives for each individual brand across the company portfolio.
Responsibilities
Leadership
Develop and maintain relationships and communication with key partners in the Operations team to ensure stores are well presented with proper marketing & merchandising.
Continually spend time in each unit to understand new product requirements based on customer expectations, with a view to new menu implementation.
Brand Management
Ensure all stores are well presented with proper marketing & merchandising material at all time
Develop and implement the agreed marketing plans with respect to periodic dynamic market utilize brand strength and analyze both internal and external competitors to ensure strategies effectiveness.
Coordinate with Advertising agencies, controlling quality of media produced and liaison with concerned parties to install and put in place all materials at outlets, whereas, supporting all appropriated activities to complete the event.
Regularly work with the Marketing Manager to develop menus and promotions, increasing TA while maintaining GP margins.
Carry out and analyse customer research/surveys or customer counts at stores to support the development of marketing plans.
Implement franchisor/brand marketing activities and promotions.
Monitor marketing campaigns of competitors and provide monthly competitor price analysis.
Support Marketing Manager on other duties assigned including projects and team development.
Co-ordinate with 3rd parties such as Mobile Providers, Banks, Tour Companies for marketing activities.
Profit & Loss
Provides assistance to the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing sales growth initiatives.
Review and develop effective packaging and presentation methods as appropriate for brands.
Operational Excellence
Develop effective point of sale materials and merchandising systems to assist with operational execution, ensuring marketing initiatives are effectively briefed and implemented throughout the business.
Required Capabilities
+3 years' experience in Marketing & Brands management, a proven track record as a leader of market campaigns, activities
Detailed knowledge of all marketing mix relating to restaurant brands.
Experience within the hospitality industry, with relation to dealing with at least 5-10 stores is essential.
