Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of offshore and industrial hydraulic solutions. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the West area - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop customized mechanical equipment, with a focus on offshore applications. Collaborate with team members to deliver projects according to planned schedules. Manage individual tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of assigned work. Work closely with Sales, Projects, and Operations teams to support project requirements. Ensure all design and processes comply with ISO 9001 quality standards.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years' experience in design of heavy mechanical structures and drive systems Proficient in Autocad with the ability to produce detailed Production Engineering drawings Proficient with 3D modeling and finite element analysis Experienced in mechanical engineering calculations and component selection Experienced with ABS/DNV/BV class codes and standards Experienced with FMECA documentation and report writing
