Company Overview
Our client a leading engineering company with a significant global presence. They specialize in a broad range of electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications engineering services for various sectors, including building, industrial, and infrastructure projects. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, ACMV, to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage quality control procedures for ACMV and mechanical works, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections, audits, and testing of materials, equipment, and site installations.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.
• Proactively monitor and ensure workmanship consistently meets design specifications and stringent quality standards.
• Prepare detailed non-conformance reports (NCRs), issue corrective action requests, and meticulously follow up until resolution and closure.
• Act as a key liaison with consultants, clients, and subcontractors, effectively addressing and resolving any quality-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection reports and test records.
• Provide essential support during handover and commissioning phases, ensuring all quality requirements are fully met.

Key Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 6-8 years of direct experience in quality control specifically for ACMV/mechanical works within large-scale construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of ACMV systems, mechanical equipment, and established QA/QC procedures.
• Comprehensive familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with large industrial or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
