Job Description
Our Client, Manufacturing industry, has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the operational set up in a new plant site (either Malaysia or Thailand)
- Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations on a local and regional level
- Handle quotations and program management for different projects
- Apply Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies for continuous process improvements and to improve operational efficiency
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 years of relevant experience in engineering, preferably in manufacturing field
- Knowledge of CNC machining process, cutting tools, or fixture designs
- Knowledge or experience in process or fixture designs
- Knowledge of CAD software preferred
- Knowledge of Solid Works user will be an advantage
- Willingness to travel & undergo overseas posting for at least 1-2 years in Malaysia and Thailand as this is part of the job role
