:
Working location is at Jurong Island You will be under the Mechanical Maintenance team responsible for the effective maintenance plant and equipment to achieve high reliability and availability in accordance with statutory, regulatory and safety requirement. Responsibilities

• Plan and perform scheduled plant inspection according to maintenance regime as well as ensuring that our gas plant, auxiliaries oil terminal and common systems are maintained according to SOPs, and in compliance with regulations and requirements in a safe manner
• Independently managing and coordinate the team to execute the planned / ad-hoc Mechanical Maintenance activities.
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external counter-parties with regards to area of work
• Manage and optimize all planned plant/equipment maintenance activities during minor and major overhauls and inspections
• Supervision of maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for all maintenance activities
• Responsible for the functional tests and analyse the failures related to mechanical systems and components and recommends corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. Troubleshooting of faults/defects issues & carry out root cause analysis.
• Study, evaluate and implement plant improvement projects to enhance overall plant reliability, availability and performance
• Lead plant improvement processes to enhance availability, reliability, cost-effectiveness and efficiency of the plant
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment parts and work services. Plan and manage the procurement of parts and services to meet the maintenance needs
• Planning and execution of works within budget and tracking the year to date expenditure against the approved department budget
• Develop of staff under charge and provide guidance on technical issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in engineering/maintenance from the Utilities or Oil & Gas Sector
• Sound Mechanical engineering maintenance knowledge and standards. Good knowledge of safety and statutory requirement.
• Self-motivated team player with analytical mind, strong planning and problem solving skills.
