Prioritize own workflow and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.
Provide valuable suggestions for enhancing machine performance.
Adhere to safety procedures, recommended practices, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), safe work permits, and consistently follow plant safety programs.
Collaborate with production personnel to coordinate maintenance and project manager activities, aiming to reduce downtime to a minimum.
Ensure utility and maintenance activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (also see cGMP) and other related regulatory practices.
Read and follow equipment schematics, blueprints logic diagrams and engineering drawings.
Conduct calibration of production and facility equipment independently.
Use electrical testing equipment including multi-meters, clamp-on current meters, meggers etc. in a safe manner.
Analyze equipment and line problems and implement resolutions.
Provide guidance to fellow technicians on the operational intricacies of assigned machinery and equipment.
Design and install electrical sensors or control systems to enhance performance, and complete related corrective maintenance.
Create machine control logistic software and hardware for a moderate level of complexity.
Perform Preventive/ Predictive Maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to ensure high reliability and availability.
Support to develop Preventive Maintenance SOP/ Procedures and tasks to maintain plant assets.
Perform troubleshooting by observing mechanical devices in operation, identifying issues through attentive listening, employing measuring instruments, and utilizing testing equipment for problem diagnosis.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support (IRS/QAR) investigations.
Assist in project construction and commissioning of plant equipment and systems by actively participating in punch listing and commissioning tasks. Engage in conversations with Supervisors/Engineers regarding equipment enhancements and modifications.
Complete all assigned training on-time and also prior to work implementation.
Requirements
GCE "O" level, NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
Possess skill to understand and execute simple to complex maintenance task for mechanical systems.
Knowledge of mechanical equipment operations and maintenance skill and knowledge with experience in working in a team performance matrix environment.
