The position
In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across the region to plan, execute and advise on medical affairs activities for Obesity portfolio and Rare Diseases. The role will also ensure the timely, accurate and credible building of scientific and medical knowledge communication to and from the external scientific community and within the organization. This role will be reporting to the BASEA Clinical, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) Senior Director.
Other role tasks are as follows but not limited to:

  • Provide medical and scientific support for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other Healthcare Professionals (HCPs such as nurses, pharmacists, etc.) on a product/project specific basis.
  • Ensure coordination of medical strategies on a product/project level and nurture specialist on the product/project within his/her responsibility towards internal and external customers.
  • Work with affiliates within Business Area South East Asia and align strategies, as well as ensure Business Ethics compliance within medical affairs.
  • Create, develop and execute scientific communication strategy, and manage organization and performance.
Qualifications
  • The candidate preferably is an MD, or has Life science or Ph.D. qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently on scientific topics, project management skills while having strong cross-functional collaboration with good methodical and logical thinking.
  • Regional and cross-cultural experience will be an added advantage.
