Your new role
In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across BASEA to plan, execute and advise on medical affairs activities for Obesity and Diabetes. The role will also ensure the timely, accurate and credible building of scientific and medical knowledge, communication to and from the external scientific community and within the organization. Other role tasks are as follows but not limited to:

• Work with affiliates within BASEA and align strategies, as well as ensure Business Ethics compliance within medical affairs.
• Represent business area BASEA across APAC, international operations, global medical forums.
• Plan and execute regional medical activities (advisory boards, regional KOL events, scientific meetings) in collaboration with APAC and affiliate teams to support product and affiliate goals.
• Oversee the identification, engagement, and strategic deployment of regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) advocates through scientific exchange in cardio-metabolic space with focus on obesity and diabetes care.
• Provide medical and scientific support to KOLs and healthcare professionals (HCPs: physicians, nurses, pharmacists) in partnership with affiliate medical teams for product or project specific basis.
• Coordinate and drive product or project level medical strategies, developing internal subject-matter expertise and ensuring consistent cross affiliate execution.
• Develop and implement scientific communication and publication strategies to build credible external scientific dialogue and internal awareness. Develop and coordinate the Real-world data generation and strategy across BASEA in collaboration and alignment with BASEA affiliates.

This role will be reporting to the BASEA Medical & Marketing Senior Director. In this department we develop and implement telehealth marketing strategies to optimize the patient journey from awareness to adherence. Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Graduate from MD, Life Science or PhD.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently on scientific topics, medical strategies, and project management skills while having strong cross-functional collaboration with good methodical and logical thinking.
• Regional and cross-cultural experience.
