The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with a German Retail group with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Senior Merchandiser based at their Singapore HQ! Reporting directly to the Manager, the successful incumbent will support the end-to-end merchandising process (product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow-up) for the apparel category.

• Work location: South-West Region
• Work days/hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm
• Retail industry - Kidswear OR lingerie

The Job:

• Oversee the order process from confirmation through shipment, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Coordinate the sampling process to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Assist in managing order allocation according to departmental strategy and HQ guidelines.
• Participate in managing quotations, conducting price analysis, and negotiating prices with suppliers.
• Monitor the selection critical path through daily communication with relevant departments and external parties.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments such as QA, PD, Sourcing, and Production to identify and address potential risks, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards.
• Assist with factory evaluation and ongoing improvement initiatives for apparel.

The Talent:

• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in end-to-end merchandising process for softline categories.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) is a must.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and strong analytical skills.
• Strategic mindset and a strong commitment to achieving business objectives.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-energy working environment.
