Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced MSBI Developer with a strong background in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Data Warehousing (DW) principles.

Responsibilities:

Gather and analyse business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and business analysts. Design and develop robust ETL solutions using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes. Create and maintain SSRS reports, including tabular, matrix, drill-down, drill-through, and parameterized reports. Build and deploy SSAS cubes (Multidimensional and Tabular), including dimensions, hierarchies, KPIs, calculated measures, and partitions. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and perform advanced data modelling. Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across systems. Conduct unit testing and document test scenarios and results. Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices. Provide production support and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, reports, and data loads. Troubleshoot and optimize SSIS packages and SSRS performance issues. Work on enhancements and change requests (CRs) from business users. Prepare deployment scripts and assist with UAT and production deployments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field. Min. 7+ years of experience in MSBI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), with experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models, and leading multi-vendor teams across geographies. Strong background working in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Airlines, Insurance, Public Sector, or Banking. Experience in data migration projects involving legacy BI systems such as SAP BO, WebI, Cleva, and third-party reporting frameworks. Strong proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning. Experience in Power BI report development and data modeling. Experience with data migration projects involving SAP BO/WEBI, Cleva systems, or other legacy tools. Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension Tables. Experience with dimensional modeling, cube design, and processing in SSAS. Ability to understand legacy systems and fix issues without supervision. Knowledge of version control systems, deployment processes, and CI/CD practices is a plus. Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), BIDS/SSDT. * Exposure to reporting tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy.
