What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

As the Network Engineer at Schroders, you\'ll be part of the Singapore GT Infrastructure team that is responsible for providing high quality support and project/change capability for all infrastructure components both in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region, as well as working closely with your global counterparts

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing level 3 support of LAN, WAN and firewall environments, including problem isolation and resolution, performances troubleshooting and monitoring, change management, incident management.
• Support network engineering changes including infrastructure and business projects. Some out of hours activities to support projects and level 3 escalation for operation issues.
• Maintain network documentation, including inventory management.
• Contribute to the active management of device life cycles.
• Operate in a global team to support the global networks estate
• Engage with the broader Schroders teams in the management and resolution of major incidents and problems.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need

• Minimum 8 years of level 2/3 hands on experience supporting a large and complex network environment within an MNC or large organisation
• Hands on experience working on routing, switching and firewalls such as Palo Alto or Checkpoint
• Hands on experience supporting voice such as Microsoft Teams or Cisco Unified Communications
• Hands on experience on Network appliances like McAfee Web Gateway, Infoblox DDI/NetMRI, Citrix Netscaler, Forescout NAC or Cisco DNAC/WLC
• Ability to create high quality documentation
• Experience working with managed service providers and outsourcers
• Knowledgeable in multiple system platforms and technology disciplines
• Knowledgeable in ManageEngine and Ansible

What will be good to have

• CCNP Certified
• Knowledge in Video conferencing solutions e.g., Cisco CMS/CUCM/Express-C and Express-E.
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud
