Senior Network Engineer, APAC (Hybrid/Remote) Full time, Singapore
You design, configure, build and operate the organization\xe2\x80\x99s Enterprise Network, LAN, WAN, WiFi, Datacenter & Cloud as part of a global team of Network Engineers.
As a Senior Network Engineer, APAC, you will
- Support the Network Architects to develop, evaluate, design, configure and implement complex global network solutions based on strategic designs and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical plans, drawings, configurations & documentation, including high and low level designs to support projects and day-2 operations.
- Design and implement networks for new and existing offices and datacenters. Perform Network Operations, based on tickets, troubleshooting network issues at 2nd / 3rd line Engineering level.
- Maintain current network together as part of a global team of Network Engineers, including Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Availability, Patch Management.
- Maintain expert level knowledge through continuous education, and be a consultant to other IT Colleagues, and a mentor and coach to junior Network Engineers.
- 5+ years technical experience in a network engineering role preferably in a 24 x 7 IT environment
- Expert Knowledge of Physical and Virtual Switching / Routing environments, common network protocols and dynamic routing
- Experience with design, documentation, configuration and implementation of complex network solutions
- Strong Data Center & Cloud Environment Background, preferred AWS, Azure
- Ability to maintain, develop and interpret written IT policies and procedures
- Advanced communication skills in English, oral, written and presentation
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Occasionally work outside business hours
- Cisco Certifications Preferred: CCNP/CCIE R&S / EI or other comparable certifications
- Technical degree or equivalent on the job experience
- Familiarity with ISO and PCI standards
