Your Job (Key Responsibilities)
- Design and implement new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installation and configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, VoIP, switches & wireless controller/access points, load balancer, network access control etc
- Installation and configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
- Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations/laptops, telephony equipment, printers, and production equipment/tools.
- Perform and arrange network device/firewall firmware upgrade or preventive maintenance activities
- Work closely with internal & external teams for problem resolution.
- Provide day-to-day network administration support
- Manage and establish priorities for design and maintenance of entire infrastructure inclusive of LANs, WANs, VOIP, Internet, security, and wireless implementation.
- Deploy high-availability network and platform according to business requirement
- Responsible for network related incident and change management
- Create technical documentation and carry out technical reviews.
- Develop policies, procedures, and controls to ensure network security
- Manage the smooth delivery of network operations in accordance with SLA
- Ensure network infrastructure complies with security policies
- Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
- Prioritise tasks to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with project plans and budgets
- Create good working relationship amongst members to ensure smooth flow of work, which improves overall performance
- Troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting the operation of the system infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology/Information System/Computer Science, or its equivalent
- At least 5++ years of experience in network support and implementation experience preferably in Manufacturing environment
- CCNA/CCNP certified
- In-depth knowledge of the following
- Firewall technologies (Fortinet/Checkpoint/SonicWALL/F5 Firepass etc)
- IPS/IDS
- IP load balancer
- Distribution and core switches
- Router configuration (High Availability)
- LAN and WAN administration
- Wireless Networking (Cisco/Aruba)
- SD-WAN, MPLS, QoS, Policy base routing, IPsec VPN, DMVPN, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, QoS, VPN,VoIP
- Hands-on knowledge of Firewall, Routers, VLANs and routing protocols
- Knowledge of DMZ, Cyber Security, server hardening and firewall administration
- Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, VoIP and WLAN design and implementation
- Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with ability to provide quick resolution to problems
- Strong initiate, good team player, enjoys taking ownership of issues, process driven and great attention to details.

- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication
- Must be independent, resourceful, pro-active and a team player
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- This role requires 24/7 standby
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud (AWS/Azure) network configuration and integration with on-premises network equipment
- Good knowledge on Security appliances \xe2\x80\x93 Fortinet, MacAfee, Juniper
- VoIP PBX phone system
- Experience with Ruckus wireless, Aruba networks, Cisco Autonomous AP, Cisco Wireless Bridge, Cisco IOS, EAP/PEAP and WPA
- Work experience in Enterprise networking will be advantage
- Knowledge in monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, MRTG will be preferred
- Good knowledge on OT network
- Work experience in 24/7 manufacturing environment will be preferred
