Julian Grey\'s client is a Singapore based solution provider for high quality IT security products to value add to their MNC clients & channel partners and has been in the market for 25 years. With a team of more than 200 highly experienced professionals, the company is looking for individuals who are passionate about the IT security industry to join their rapidly expanding team.

Location: Tampines (Shuttle bus provided to and from Tampines MRT)
Working hours: 8.30am - 6pm (Mon - Thu), 8.30am - 5.30pm (Fri)

Job Responsibilities:

• Configure physical network devices when expanding capacity buildouts.
• Set up automated monitoring for physical network devices.
• Establish automated alerts based on monitoring for physical network devices.
• Create automation scripts to safely update the configuration of physical network devices.
• Raise tickets to Data Centre operations for various tasks like cable checks, line card replacements, device replacements, and decommissioning.
• Update the operating system firmware of physical network devices.
• Ensure the security of logical access to physical network devices.
• Respond to incidents involving physical network devices.
• Provide evidence to auditors regarding the logical security of physical network devices.
• Enhance the technical skills of the networking team.
• Develop expertise in networking to handle complex problems effectively.
• Coordinate team duties and schedules with available resources.
• Eliminate obstacles to increase agility, enabling the team to change priorities quickly without losing productivity.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of Networking Engineering experience with Layer 2 protocols
• Layer 3 networking (IP), and routing protocols (OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS).
• Troubleshooting experience with various platforms but not limited Cisco, Juniper and Arista.
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check is required.
• Possess strong scripting skills Python, PowerShell, C# preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and articulate software architecture to Software Developers.
• Collaborative, attentive, able to work under pressure.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
