COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a financial institution company that provides innovative risk management and financial solutions to address the dynamic challenges of the insurance landscape. In lieu with recent business needs, our client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with regional L2-L3 network experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement network and network security products, platforms, software, hardware, or appliance-based solutions.
• Develop and implement new solutions in collaboration with management and vendors to satisfy business requirements.
• Design and manage the deployment of diverse network infrastructures with capacity planning, performance tuning, and configuration optimisation as required.
• Perform network maintenance and system enhancements, including service packs, patches, and hot fixes.
• Maintain network security across the enterprise\'s global infrastructure and analyse network security threats. Monitors organization\'s networks for security vulnerabilities and investigates occurrences of violations.
• Utilise network administration, maintenance, automation, and visual reporting tools
• Develops technical documentation describing network infrastructure deployment, configuration, and management.
• Participates in audits of IT security. Responds to existing audits and assures the implementation of required controls as required.
• Develops solid relationships outside of IT to comprehend business requirements. Communicates complex information in a manner that is easily understood. Advocates for the end user and stakeholder by identifying with the products and empathising with and comprehending the user\'s requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least 7 years of experience in network engineering.
• Candidate must have advanced technical skills and experience with L2 and L3 protocols and technologies, including IPSec, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, VPC, QoS, and 802.1x. Be knowledgeable of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NXOS.
• The candidate must have knowledge of multiple platforms, including NetScaler, Riverbed, Palo Alto, and Cisco (Catalyst, ISR, ASR, Nexus, ASA/FTD). Cisco ACI experience is a bonus, as is familiarity with Juniper and HPE routing/switching equipment.
• Must be familiar with open-source and other tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Must possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen eye for detail
• At least one of the following credentials: Cisco CCIE and Cisco CCNP
• Flexible schedule, including night and weekend employment
• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent
