Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for analysing, delivering and executing enterprise architecture designs and ensure solution meets business objectives and technology best practice.

• Conduct network solution requirements gathering and develop solutions and alternatives

• Drive and participate in Projects from design to delivery

• Liaise with vendors to ensure timely completion and implementation of projects

• Provide third level technical support during incidents and problems

• Extensive experience with enterprise technologies including proxy, firewalls, load balancers, SDWAN, software defined networking (SDN) and other security appliances.

• Experience in networking and routing protocols (i.e., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)

• Familiar with Enterprise Architecture concepts, design principles, best practices, standards, and processes.

• Clear understanding of network technologies (WAN, LAN, network security, wireless or equivalent)

• Experience with software interaction with databases such as DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, and others

• Keeping up to date of new technologies and developments in related area of responsibility
  

• Degree or Diploma in computer science or related technical discipline

• At least 5 years’ experience in implementation of enterprise data solutions/platforms and applications

• Ability to understand technical discussions, process and architecture and translate that into consumable information for non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to diagnose problems and identify solutions.

• Experienced with Microsoft environment, Converged and Hyperconverged technology stacks

• Board experience in designing and building enterprise data integration solutions

• Good understanding of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and practices

• At least a professional certification such as CCNA or related Network Certification
