CloudPay is seeking an experienced senior network engineer/architect to join our rapidly expanding Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Director of Global Infrastructure and InfoSec, this is a completely new role, with a range of networking responsibilities currently being covered by a multi-skilled Infrastructure Engineering team.
With our huge ongoing growth, we now have the need for a dedicated networking specialist.

In this role you will not only maintain and support our existing networks, but suggest improvements and designs for new networks, including but not limited to: global office and production networks, public cloud networks (AWS), VPNs, and internet connectivity. Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

• Maintain, improve and support the existing office and production networks
• Maintain, improve and support the existing Checkpoint firewall estate
• Maintain, improve and support the existing VPN solution
• Suggest improvements and redesigns of networks mentioned above
• Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance and support of the AWS public cloud network
• Work with the technical document writer and other team members to update and maintain the network architecture diagrams, both internal and customer facing
• Ensure the security of the networks is maintained and improved in line with current good practices.
• Ensure network equipment is kept up to date, both hardware and software.

• A relevant degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience working as network engineer/architect in a fast paced organization
• Appropriate networking certifications
• Security Focused
• Extensive experience with public cloud networking design, maintenance and Security (AWS)
• Network maintenance, design and implementation
• Switch Management Experience
• Firewall Management Experience
• Experience Commissioning, Maintaining and Supporting VPNs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• Checkpoint Firewall Configuration Experience preferred
• Checkpoint AWS Virtual Appliance Experience
• Experience with Dome9/CloudGuard
• UnFi configuration experience
