Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Occupational Therapist: Job Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy and related services for residents.
Identify individual resident needs and develop individualized therapy programs to facilitate, restore, improve, or maintain functional abilities.
Monitor residents progress, evaluate program effectiveness, and maintain accurate documentation.
Provide caregiver training on resident handling and home exercise programs.
Refer residents to appropriate specialists and prescribe rehabilitation aids as needed.
Offer consultation and support to caregivers and allied health professionals regarding resident functional status and occupational therapy matters.
Provide guidance to the rehabilitation team on resident handling and musculoskeletal injury concerns.
Maintain efficient records and proper documentation of therapy services and departmental activities.
Perform administrative duties such as resident billing, maintaining workload statistics, therapy resources, and departmental cleanliness.
Ensure therapy equipment is regularly serviced, repaired, and inventoried.
Maintain inventory of sales products and related equipment.
Stay updated on occupational therapy developments through journals, courses, and online resources.
Participate in research projects and conduct in-service education for peers.
Supervise and provide clinical education to occupational therapy students and allied health trainees on attachment.
Maintain safe work practices and ensure a safe working environment.
Be familiar with all nursing home emergency and evacuation procedures.
Participate in departmental quality procedures, policy reviews, and service improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Monitor and report non-compliance and implement corrective actions in consultation with Rehab Manager / DIC.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum 4 years of clinical experience.
Proficient in basic Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Ability to supervise staff, provide training, and mentor junior therapists.
Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and quality assurance procedures.
Additional Information:
Salary: Up to SGD 6,500 +AWS
Working Location: Simei
Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
