About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.
Job Responsibilities
Loans Operations
Loan accounts opening for new borrowing customers in Multi-Currency Loans (MCL) System
Loan disbursements, repayments, redemption, rollovers, restructuring and other loans transactions.
Data maintenance of loan accounts.
Process and effect accounting entries for Deposit/ Payments/ SWIFT/ GL transactions
Limit implementation for Loans & Limit Exposure System (LES) and the other products systems
Reconciliations and investigations
Daily operations in accordance to MAS regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
Management Reporting and Support
Compile and oversee regular and ad-hoc management information for reporting purposes and use in monitoring the operations of the loan account setup and transactions processing
Develop and maintain procedures and manuals for Loan Operations.
Work in partnership with colleagues and stakeholders on operating procedures or system enhancements.
Maintain proper loan archival records
Job Requirements
Degree Holder with 1- 4 years of corporate loans operations experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications especially Excel and Word
Comfortable in data handling and analysis with Excel
Self-motivated with initiative and a strong drive to achieve quality work
Good team player
Strong oral and written communication & interpersonal skills
