This is a critical role impacting the long-term growth and technology transformation of the business, efficiency of our operations, and critical business processes. You will report to the AMO Technology Associate Director, Asia Pacific organization and work closely with the respective business Technology Focal at all regional locations to lead and execute Technology and Transformation initiatives.

The Aftermarket Operations Asia Pacific (AMO APAC) organization is a significant piece of the overall PW Aftermarket Operations business unit supporting the PW Commercial Engines division; and represents a collection of 6 repair and overhaul businesses which specialize in various types of aircraft engine part maintenance and service serving both Pratt & Whitney, and a variety of global customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform Aftermarket Operations (AMO) organization into a high-performance Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations based on Operational Excellence (OpX) principles and industry 4.0 standards for automation, connectivity, and intelligence.
  • Lead and coordinate alignment between multiple groups and organizations to deploy the technology and OpX strategy for Global AMO.
  • Lead implementation of OpX tools such as Standard Production System (SPS), Connectivity playbook and Automation assessment to AMO sites and drive tangible business benefits.
  • Collaborate with sites technology teams to assess, identify, and develop technology and OpX solutions.
  • Use project management tools and industrial engineering concepts to deploy technology solutions related to automation, connectivity and intelligence in an engine center and repair shop operational environment.
  • Promote awareness and encourage technological innovation and OpX initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and operational performances.
  • Aid AMO CORE (Customer Orientated Result & Excellence) and Technology OpX deployment goals and overall business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations and continuous improvement.
  • Project management experience and driving change management.
  • Good leadership, critical thinking and business acumen skills with the ability to innovate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Practical knowledge of visualization platforms such as PowerBI, Qliksense and SSRS would be a plus.
  • Industry experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial business preferred.
