As Senior Operations Engineer, you will be providing process and technical support to the Manufacturing Operations Teams to enable Value Stream to deliver its operational objectives. Areas of support includes process optimization, validation activities, continuous improvement, change management, deviation investigation and production project management to ensure that Value Stream can operate optimally and in compliance with cGMP requirements.Key Responsibilities AreaManage deviation investigations and CAPAs of high complexity and related to process or technical events.Changes including eCCs, SMRs and SAP master data (e.g. BOM).Non-process specific training.Gap analysis against QMS (CQMPs, GGs) and Quality Alerts.Prepare documents and training materials as required to support the activities of the operations department.Identify, manage, and execute improvement initiatives in the following areas:Process optimizationOperational Excellence (OE) initiativesSupport Manufacturing Operations in executing validation, trials, development and technical transfer activities where necessary.InterfaceDevelop relationship within the Value Stream team and with other departments (including MSAT, QA, QC, TS etc.) to ensure delivery of operational objectives.ManagementPlan, manage and execute deliverables through proper and timely request and utilization of resources to ensure delivery of tasks and projects.Plan and coordinate effective utilization of ad-hoc team members (Engineer Trainees).Leadership (Senior Engineer)Coach and provide guidance to the Operations Engineer in their execution of daily tasks.To assist the Senior Operations Executive/Manufacturing Manager in ensuring the quality and delivery of tasks and projects.Technology TransferParticipate in new technology and/or new process transfer.Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceProfessional:Degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant fieldAt least 4 years of experience in biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturingTechnical:Knowledge of cGMP and safety (biosafety)Knowledge in Biotechnology equipment and processes, particularly downstream processes such as Ultra/Diafiltration and ChromatographyEquipment and process troubleshooting skillsKnowledge and application of Project Management skillsGood experience in continuous and process improvements and good exposure in process automation\xe2\x80\x8bBusiness:Effective communication and team building skillsEffective organization skillsEffective project management skillsAbility to work independentlyProblem solving and analytical skillsTo learn more about Singapore GSK and our people, please click on this link:#Li-GSKWhy GSK?Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose \xe2\x80\x93 to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together \xe2\x80\x93 so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns \xe2\x80\x93 as an organisation where people can thrive.
