Ensure smooth and efficient tanker operations for the assigned portfolio of tankers.
Prepare regular reports monthly and annually as well as other periodical forecasts.
Oversee voyage planning for assigned portfolio of vessels.
Instruct and forward voyage instructions to the vessels\' Master.
Monitor vessels\' performance and feedback to GM and Chartering staff.
Assist chartering & operations managers in pre-fixture.
Responsible for coordination with vessels\' master and ship managers and port agents for smooth voyages, entry to ports, and loading/unloading of cargo.
Check and handle ship and cargo documents to ensure smooth operations.
Timely and accurate Input of voyage data in IMOS operations software.
Ensure punctual billing and payment for income/expense related to the assigned vessel\'s operation.
Check and verify vendor invoices and coordinate payment schedules with accounting staff to ensure timely settlement.
Collection of freight and other receivables with timely and close follow-up on over-due receivables.
Assist in department projects or additional duties as and when required.
All other vessel operation-related matters.
Requirements:
University Degree holder or relevant Diploma from Polytechnics.
Good command of English language to communicate effectively with our partners, charterers and HQ.
Good understanding & knowledge of charter party terms / Product tanker operations / Pool operation.
A minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience in tanker operations.
Excellent interpersonal skills and is a team player.
Preference for candidate with vessel operations background and knowledge of IMOS software.
