Roles & Responsibilities Care-Way Hi-Tech Logistics Pte Ltd is an international freight forwarder specializing in air and sea freight forwarding and logistics.
We are seeking a Senior Operations Executive to work in our Singapore office. The Senior Operations Executive is vital to the Care-Way Hi-Tech Logistics Pte Ltd team. This role reports to the Operations Manager. It provides an excellent opportunity for learning the ropes of the trade and thus career advancement opportunity in other managerial positions.
Responsibilities

• Declare permits and handles Certificate of Origins
• File advance export declaration
• Handle import and export documentation to facilitate timely Customs clearance
• Coordinate with transporters on cargo collection and delivery, quotations, service level standards, job requirements & procedures
• Arrangement for cargo collection & delivery
• Address operations issues and complaints
• Supervision of cargo transfer, loading & unloading, BUP, palletizing
• Work with airline cargo terminals for cargo survey, ULDs
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis on selection and evaluation of service providers (cargo transportation, material handling equipment, etc.)
• Point-of-contact for Customs matters and vendors/service providers
• Attend Cargo survey
• Develop, evaluate, implement, and improve operational processes and procedures
• Perform checks by standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and legislation to identify non-compliance, cargo security, workplace safety management, and process improvement

• Minimum 2 years of air freight forwarding relevant operations experience
• Practical experience and knowledge of Harmonised Tariff System (HTS), Rules of Origin, COO determination, Government Agency Import/Export regulations, Customs-Trade Compliance.
• Hands-on permit declaration
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills
