What the role is:Singapore Customs is looking for hands-on personnel with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and goals. You will be part of our Intelligence & Investigation(I&I) Division, reporting to the Deputy Head, Operations Management. This position is based in the Customs Operations Command at Jalan Bahar.What you will be working on:You will be assigned a portfolio of the following duties: Manage Customs Operations Command (COC) and logistical services to support enforcement operations Oversee COC Facilities Management (FM) and security related matters Oversee Exhibits Management Unit (EMU) in ensuring the proper custody and disposal of case exhibits Management of seized exhibits internal and external warehouses Procurement and contract management to meet operational needs of Intelligence & Investigation DivisionWhat we are looking for:Requirements: Experience in facility management Experience in government procurement procedures and contract management Good interpersonal, project and stakeholder management Good team player, able to work with colleagues in teams to achieve desired outcomeAbout Singapore Customs:Singapore Customs is a government agency under the Ministry of Finance. Re-constituted on 1 April 2003, Singapore Customs is the lead agency on trade facilitation and revenue enforcement matters. It is also responsible for the implementation of customs and trade enforcement measures including those related to Free Trade Agreements and strategic goods.
