Job Description
- Min 5 years of relevant petroleum or gasoline trading operations gained with an established gas/oil trading MNC
- Has exposure to trading/shipping lines.
- Has extensive knowledge of cargo operations – especially VEF, incoterms, blending, cargo specifications knowledge eg, definition of sulphur, Na, Ca, density, etc
For this senior/experienced ops professional, you work in the ops team (of around 7 staff) and will report to the Operations Manager, Finance Manager and the Director of the company.
The role is a senior ops professional role (around min 5 years of relevant petroleum/gasoline ops exp) covering the following key pts:
- Manage shore tank operations and blending of cargoes of various qualities
- Plan and execute bulking of cargoes at shore tank with tank trucks – including but not limited to handling export licenses, HS codes, sustainability certificates
- Prepare contracts, LC negotiations, shipping instructions, doc instructions, inspection appointments
- Min 5 years of relevant petroleum or gasoline trading gained with an established gas/oil trading MNC with exposure to trading/shipping lines.
- Have extensive knowledge on cargo operations – especially VEF, incoterms, blending, cargo specifications knowledge eg, definition of sulphur, Na, Ca, density, etc
- Contactable 24/7 given the global operations nature of the role
- Adhoc duties required by the director of the company
- Able to work independently
- Well versed with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Quick thinking and a high affinity for problems solving and solutions skills
- Quick to adapt to a dynamic trading environment
- Has initiative
- Must be able to work independently in a new and fast growing company
- Open to the Bukit Merah Central location of the role (employees work 100% from office).
