Job Purpose

Main purpose is to support the Lead, Station Project in the implementation of projects for Station, Train, and Depot Operations. Assisting in conducting site surveys, plan and prepare request from various internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining worn-out signages, take up the SPIC duties when required, prepare purchase requisition and tender specifications.

Responsibilities

• To plan and prepare requests for Station, Train, and Depot, E.g., OCC PA Announcements. including ad-hoc special events. E.g., ECLO, Station Exercises.
• To conduct site surveys and inspections, gather data, and then collate data for submission.
• To plan, prepare, conduct site surveys and implementation of various 59 NSEWL Station requests. E.g., Locality Maps, Exit Directories, Prohibition Signs, Kaizen Projects, Platform Queue Lines, Full-Height and Half-Height Platform Screen Doors, various Transit and Operational Signs.
• To plan, prepare, liaise, and coordinate with contractors to install Station and Depot signages.
• To plan and coordinate with external parties or organizations, E.g., LTA on implementation of new Transit Signs or Projects or ad-hoc events such as ECLO.
• To plan and coordinate the distribution of operational signs, store items and equipment for 59 NSEWL stations.
• Sort and deliver various posters. E.g., Events such as F1 / NDP / Xmas / NYE / ECLO / CBTC HW/TW to 59 NSEWL stations
• PIC duties for various signage installation work for 59 NSEWL stations
• SPIC duties when requested by departments within OSD.
• Plan and prepare RIMP / TSD signs for 59 NSEWL stations. E.g., Free bus services for leaflets, mega pull-down screens, bus posters, free bridging bus signs, and various TSD signs.
• In charge of station store items and equipment. Plan, prepare and replenish stocks.
• Conduct site survey, plan and prepare ad-hoc signage requests/events for 59 NSEWL stations. E.g., Events such as F1 / NDP / Xmas / NYE / ECLO
• To prepare monthly reports, prepare purchase requisition and tender specifications
• Perform other duties/assignments which are assigned by supervisor(s).

Qualifications & Work Experience

Diploma in any discipline from a recognized institution. Relevant work experience is preferred and able to work independently.

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Operational experience in station, train, and depot operations is a plus.
• Being familiar with the railway network will be an added advantage.
• Must have a keen interest in the development of transit signage.
• Must be meticulous and attentive to details.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Able to handle stress with a tight timeline.
• Collaborative and a team player and willing to learn.
• Job is mainly office hours, but there may be an instance that requires occasional night works
