• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering or Finance
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
• 15 years of industry experience, preferably in a Trading environment
• Strong knowledge of the international energy markets encompassing detailed commodity knowledge, market organization, physical and financial trading contracts, risk management, trading regulation and operational and shipping terms.
• Forward looking with effective motivational skills
• Skilled negotiator with the ability to effectively lead and manage negotiation
• Proven track record in sales in commercial or B2B environment and demonstrated experience in building strong professional and business relationships
• Effectively bilingual in English and an Asian language

The Senior Originator will operate under the close supervision of the Head of Structured Origination and the Head of Trading Origination to set and implement the strategy of the Trading Division within TotalEnergies Gas & Power Asia Private Limited (TEGPA).

Based in Singapore, the Senior Originator is a key member of the Structured Origination team, one of the pillars of the TEGPL Origination desk, and will work in close partnership with the TotalEnergies Trading companies, TotalEnergies Gas & Power Limited (\xe2\x80\x9cTEGPL\xe2\x80\x9d), TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc (\xe2\x80\x9cTEGPNA\xe2\x80\x9d) and TotalEnergies Gas & Power Asia Private Limited (\xe2\x80\x9cTEGPA\xe2\x80\x9d). The Senior Originator will be part of the Structured Origination desk based in Singapore. This position is a key element of the TEGPA Origination team.

Job Dimensions
The Senior Originator is responsible for supporting the activities of TEGPA Power Trading team in Asia with focus to deliver value and profitability, and origination in the Asian and Australian markets (APAC region), including but not limited to:

• Identifying, developing and closing structured transactions (including PPA\'s) for counterparts with integrated green power supply
• Structuring power and cross-commodity flexibility options: financial /physical options /CSS options /outright power
• Structuring tolling deals of physical power assets: CCGTs, peakers, BESS, Hydro storage, etc.
• Structuring hedging solutions (hedging shaping risk, balancing etc.)
• Structuring pre-financing /Pre-payment deals
• Developing structured transactions whereby any commodity traded by TEGPA could be involved: natural gas, power, environmental products, PPAs, emissions, and dry bulk commodities (pet coke, sulphur, and biomass)
• Keeping abreast of financial market regulations in the APAC markets

Accountabilities
The Senior Originator is accountable for:

• Successful prioritization, development, and delivery of profitable projects for the Trading Division in the Asian and Australian region, in a transversal context.
• Safe, acceptable operation within the Code of Conduct of the Company and within the stated strategy and objectives of the Company.

The Senior Originator is primarily responsible for:

• APAC region\'s trading developments from establishing relationships with stakeholders through to the development and contract completion.
• Working in close collaboration with the Trading Origination desk in Geneva.
• Operating under the close supervision of the Head of Structured Origination and the Head of GVA Trading Origination to set and implement the strategy of the Trading Division within the larger goal of the GRP branch of developing a profitable activity in low carbon businesses.
• The Senior Originator is a key element of the TEGP Origination team, operating from the SGP base.
• Implementing the development strategy consistent with the objectives agreed with the Head of GVA Trading Origination and the Head of the TEM Division.
• Interfacing with the TEGPA Trading desk to define and execute the strategy to optimise future assets of the Company in the APAC region. Fluid coordination and communication is essential to success.
• Interfacing effectively with the various desks in the TEM Division.
• Managing and engaging with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the GRP branch.
• Internally - communicating and collaborating with the REN business unit and the new Integrated Power BU ;
• Externally - communicating and engaging with APAC commercial stakeholders in the GRP field, which include renewable power developers, trading counterparts, transmission system operators, and investment companies (including hedge funds and private equity funds).
