Senior Paraplanner (Team Lead)

Chief Operating Officer / Head of Wealth Planning


Direct Reports:

Paraplanners (2-3 initially)

Purpose of the Role



To manage the paraplanning function at GFC, ensuring advisers are supported with timely, accurate, and compliant reports. The role is hands-on, combining technical report writing with team leadership, process improvement, and responsibility for embedding new systems (cash flow modelling and CRM).





Key Responsibilities





Leadership & Management



Lead the paraplanning team, setting standards for report quality and turnaround times Mentor junior paraplanners and provide feedback on technical work Manage workflow allocation across the team

Technical & Advisory Support



Research products, funds, and planning strategies Draft and review suitability reports, proposals, and recommendation letters Provide technical support to advisers on complex cases Attend client meetings to explain technical detail where needed

Process & Systems Improvement



Streamline report templates and paraplanning workflows Embed cash flow modelling software into client reviews Drive adoption of the new CRM system, ensuring it is used for case management, reporting, and compliance

Compliance & Quality Assurance



Ensure all reports meet MAS regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements Maintain accurate audit trails and documentation in CRM Assist COO/Compliance in preparation for audits

Skills & Experience Required



4-7 years in paraplanning or financial planning (some advisory experience an advantage)

CMFAS qualifications required/preferred: Modules 5, 8, 8A, 9, 9A, and HI

Strong knowledge of international planning, investment platforms, and life insurance wrappers Experience with cash flow modelling and CRM systems (Zoho a plus) Excellent written and spoken English Team management experience preferred, or readiness to step into a lead role

Compensation & Benefits



Base salary:

SGD 5,000 - 6,000 per month
