• Responsible for safe working practices both personally and in their designs, using the Worley standards Has an understanding of principles, theories, concepts and industry practices and local standards and their application. The engineer is expected to provide technical guidance to junior engineers & designers.
• Ensure they understand and apply the Worley quality management system.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure design work conforms to applicable specifications, codes and standards.
• Ensure checking procedures are adhered to before issue of drawings and documents, to ensure no rework due to errors in design.
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation
• Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects.
• Ensure project scope, budgets and schedules for design and drafting work are effectively communicated and met on projects
• Control the allocation of drafting work to junior designers in the project group

About You

• Diploma in Mechanical engineering
• Minimum 15 years of piping design experience using 2D/3D software. Good knowledge of Piping design of refinery and petrochemical projects.
• Able to produce plot plan, equipment layouts, piping general arrangement, isometrics and MTO.
• Good knowledge of brownfield projects.
• Good knowledge of pipe supporting
• Must have E3D Modelling experience
• Proficient in E3D , AUTOCAD ,MICROSTATION , MICROSOFT, LASER SCAN
• Work as part of a multi-discipline team
• Good time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
