Job Description

Reporting to Project Control Manager, you are responsible to coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction personnel to arrive at planning schedules for multi discipline projects and plant modifications in various stages of development by implementing advanced planning and scheduling techniques. You also need to monitor and assist Project Manager in cost estimation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement and Project groups to review the scope of work in terms of deliverables to be submitted to the client, to finalize schedules to be met, and utilize resources required as per contract.

Perform schedule monitoring and updating of project schedule, preparation of periodic Progress Reports with commitments & forecasts.

Apply pro-active approach to identify schedule deviations and propose/recommend corrective action/ work around solutions to ensure project progress.

Establish Pre-commissioning/Commissioning Schedules and review of work progress.

Collect and evaluate data required to monitor project schedules, progress measurement and to prepare cost reports.

Constantly monitoring the working budget, forecasting the final cost to complete for each category of work and managing change control.

Prepare cost reports, MH reports; perform cost analysis, and follow-up.

Analyse Subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s progress report, identify and highlight schedule deviations and delay.

Requirements

Degree with extensive Project Control experience on major projects working in a Contractor Environment is preferable.

Excellence in Microsoft Excel and Primavera version 6/6.7 applications.

Familiar with standard software programs, developing S-Curve Schedule, bar-charts and manpower histogram.

Skill Requirements:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate minimum 8-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Brownfield and Greenfield facilities. South East Asia experience on similar projects would be an added advantage.

Demonstrated success in past project involvement and technical delivery of small to medium size projects.

Possesses wide and diversified knowledge of project control system, scheduling and costing techniques in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry.

Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.

Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines.

Shall be fully conversant with the use of PC\xe2\x80\x99s and appropriate software applications.
