Job Description


What the role is:

The role will be under the Institute of Leadership and Organisation Development.

What you will be working on:

1. Develop and establish a clear and theoretically sound point of view that guides leadership development and assessment approach and practice within the institute, and which ensures that it is cutting-edge, future-oriented and relevant for implementation to meet the changing needs and priorities of the Public Service; 2. Offer expert advice to the Institute, College and larger Public Service on topics and issues related to leadership, leadership development and assessment; 3. Provide technical and management oversights to key high-signature projects that will advance Institute\'s position as the Centre of Excellence for leadership development and assessment. This will include but not limited to: i. PSC and PSLP Review: Providing technical oversight on the ongoing validation and pilot of the Game-based Assessment (GBA). This would also include exploring and guiding the co-publishing of the GBA validation results with the GBA vendor. ii. Graduate Recruitment: providing technical oversight in the validation and piloting of the Cultural Preference Tool for selection and individual and team development. iii. Design, Development and Validation of Psychometric Tools: Providing technical oversight into the design and development of tools that the Cluster may undertake so as to meet its clients\' existing or future needs. iv. Leadership Competency Framework and 360 Rollout for Senior Leaders. Provide expert advise and leadership to the implementation of the LCF and 360 rollout, including building internal capabilities within the Institute to eventually become Centre for LCF and 360 in the Public Service. 4. Build and strengthen LD and consultancy capabilities in the College, which includes facilitating the professional development of officers, establishing clear doctrines to anchor LD and assessment practices within CSC, and spearheading relevant research to ensure that the Institute/CSC remains at the leading edge of the practice field. 5. Engage strategically at the senior management level with other agencies to champion and strengthen LD and talent management capabilities in the Public Service. This is done by collaborating with public sector agencies, academic institutions and thought leaders and forge long term relationships for CSC. These engagements will also contribute towards the cultivation and development of CSC\'s external network of partners.
