JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead and manage design projects of suitable scale and scope (e.g. Masterplanning projects less than 50ha, urban design, architecture, landscape design, placemaking,...); which includes quality control, client presentation, contract management, and team management;
- Advise and/or supervise the delivery of design components (urban design, architectural and landscape concept) in projects assigned to other teams and principals, as requested by the company directors;
- Hire, lead, mentor, train, and participate in performance review of design team members in Singapore and Indonesia offices;
- Contribute to achieving revenue target set by the company for Master Planning & Design team in Singapore and Indonesia and work closely with Business Development Manager to secure projects
- Support company directors and business development manager in business development activities for design services;
- Prepare proposals (with support from Business Development team) to gain contracts and prepare contract appendices regarding scope of work, deliverables and timeline
- Present our proposals to the clients and to local authorities on behalf of the clients;
- Oversee project reports to submit to the clients;
- Communicate any conflict or challenges which may arise in the progress of a project to company directors;
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Good Degree in Architecture/Urban Design/Planning; Master\xe2\x80\x99s preferred
- Strong urban design conceptual abilities. Ability to communicate concepts to clients, project teams
- Strong track record of built urban design and architecture projects at various scale; strong track record in leading diverse and large teams to produce outcomes in a timely manner
- Familiar with master planning practice in Viet Nam including planning standards and local regulations
- Self-motivated to build up and expand the company\xe2\x80\x99s market footprint and influence in Southeast Asia and globally
- Outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrate creative ability, including urban, architectural, and graphic design
- Experience in architectural and infrastructure construction issues, including coordination of various design disciplines, development phasing, and coordinating cost estimates is a plus
- Competent in software skills such as MS Office (Word, Power Point), CAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Minimum 15 years of experience
