Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Process Designer is responsible for developing and preparing process design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, and layout drawings, in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The role supports process engineers in transforming design concepts into detailed engineering documents for FPSO and other offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop

process design drawings

such as PFDs, P&IDs, utility flow diagrams, and line lists. Assist in the design and development of

process systems

and layouts based on engineering calculations and project requirements. Ensure

design consistency and compliance

with client specifications, international codes, and company standards. Coordinate with

process, mechanical, piping, and instrumentation teams

to ensure proper integration of process design deliverables. Review and update process documentation during various design stages (FEED, detailed design, as-built). Support process engineers in preparing data sheets, design basis, and process narratives. Participate in

model reviews

and ensure accurate representation of process systems in 3D models (E3D/PDMS). Maintain drawing registers and ensure timely submission of deliverables according to project schedules. Provide guidance and technical support to junior designers when required. Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables while maintaining HSE compliance in design practices.

Requirements:

Diploma or equivalent in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum

8-10 years of experience

in process design within the

oil & gas / FPSO / EPC

industry. Strong working knowledge of

AutoCAD, E3D, or similar design software

. Familiarity with

process design standards

, codes, and practices (API, ASME, ISO). Good understanding of process documentation and project workflows. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams. * Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
