Candidate : regional candidate Work Location : would either be in Malaysia or Singapore. Depends on the composition of nationalities in the teamRequirementsDiploma / Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 to 10 years\' of relevant working experience process design of plants and systems for projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industries.
Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards in the related field.
Computer literate and good hand-on experience on applications such as
AutoCAD drafting, Smart Plant P&ID, Microsoft Office, Process design software like Hysis, Aspen, Pipenet, Pipeflow, etc.
Possess a positive work attitude and success driven.
Matured personality and able to work independently.
Good interpersonal, management and decision making skills.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReviews / implements projects specification.
Drafts engineering documents for government submission and for construction.
Carries out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations/Analysis as per project requirements.
Prepares P&ID and PFD for the projects and proposals. Prepare specification and data sheets for process equipment\'s and instrument.
Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal.
Cooperates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interference check and design changes.
Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works.
Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the designers and draftsman in the course of work.
Provides technical assistance to construction, project commissioning and startup activities
Attends site check and verification.
