Job Description

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for a process engineer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in West. Duties:

• Responsible in developing design concepts, manufacture preliminary process engineering design in compliance with regulatory and company requirements and contribute in feasibility studies as part of project conceptualization.
• Responsible in providing inputs to Project design basis and developed the Project needs (scoping of project) to encounter the over Terminal and business objectives whether greenfield or brownfield.
• Responsible in handling preparation of engineering analysis of Projects and Developmental plans including preliminary design, calculations and equipment selection and prepare design specifications
• Responsible in inspecting design work of Feasibility/FEED and EPC contractors to make sure it meets design basis requirement and project necessary, industry codes and standards and greatest practice in the industry
• Responsible in providing inputs to progress of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Logic Diagrams, schematics etc.
• Responsible in developing concepts for new energy systems advance decarbonization of the Terminal and further developed the concept into projects for feasibility and FEED studies
• Responsible in supporting Process Manager to validate process design providing by Feasibility/FEED and EPC Contractors and ensure that the design is consistent with the design basis and other project necessities
• Responsible in taking guidance from the Process Manager to make sure design is safe, operable, and sustainable and provides the specified reliability.
• Responsible in managing engineering documents and carry out to technical integrity in document management.
• Responsible in providing support to the commissioning and operation team to implement minor project within the plant.
• Support in resolving technical issues through design, engineering and construction as well as commissioning of phases.
• Responsible in contributing in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL workshops, Model inspect, layout reviews and other safety studies.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry or any relevant industry.
• Prior experience in handling various Process Design Aspects including Unisim modelling is a bonus.
• Prior experience in handling process safety in plant design is a bonus.
