Job Description

$6K + AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: EastResponsibilities

• Provide management oversight and direction to a Buyer.
• Ensure purchasing practices are fully aligned with our company\'s polices, internal financial controls and compliance requirements.
• Reliably execute Purchase to Pay transaction processes in SAP, managing the purchasing of select categories.
• Score card the Buying team\'s transactional performance and develop action plans to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical, Logistics and Business functions to identify and drive improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead the Source to Contract process for all indirect material, packaging and service categories including development of commodity strategies that ensure reliable sources of supply and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate purchase agreement pricing and terms, applying our company\'s contract templates and risk terms.
• Utilize SAP reporting tools to analyze purchasing data and identify opportunities. Understand the site\'s spend profile, supplier base, single and sole source risks, and contractual position with key strategic suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP Purchase to Pay and SAP Ariba is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
